TEAM NEWS
Ki Sung-yeung could come back into the Swansea starting line-up, having proved his fitness with 81 minutes of League Cup action in midweek.
That is likely to be Garry Monk's only selection quandary, with no other injury concerns in the squad.
Manchester United's Marouane Fellaini is available having served his three-match league suspension.
Marcos Rojo may come back into the squad but Phil Jones will miss out again with mild thrombosis.
MOTD COMMENTATOR’S NOTES
Guy Mowbray: "Louis van Gaal's 50th match as Manchester United boss comes against the same opposition as his first and which has inflicted two of his 10 defeats so far.
"Game 49 couldn't have gone better for him or Wayne Rooney, whose hat-trick in Bruges showed up any doubts about his striker role as nonsense. Sir Alex Ferguson said more than once that Rooney gets his goals in bursts.
"United must beware Bafetimbi Gomis, who has been enjoying his own burst of goals since the end of last season when asked to step into the void left by the departure of Wilfried Bony.
"Garry Monk's men are looking good. This should be a very good game."

WHAT THE MANAGERS SAY
Swansea City manager Garry Monk: "It's always very difficult when you face the big clubs," he said. They (United) have added a lot of quality and depth to their squad and have world-class players.
"We are the underdogs, but we're at home and we want to put on a performance in front of our own fans.
"There is plenty of motivation for the players after our two wins last season and we'll use that going into this game. We will probably have to produce our best performance of the season so far to come away with the result."
LAWRO’S PREDICTION
Defensively, United have been really good so far and that is one of their strengths, but I think Swansea have got the tools to beat them.
